The 49T is the Silver 49 with another 12 inches of height — 72″ instead of 60″ — and it is the one to buy if you own long-barrel rifles or shotguns that fight a standard-height interior. Same 43″ width, same 25.5″ depth, but 46 cubic feet instead of 38, and room for 13 handguns alongside the 49 long guns.
Protection does not change: 125 minutes at 1,200°F, interlocking ThermaBlock™ insulation, a heat-activated Palusol™ door seal, 11-gauge (7/64″) steel body, and 10 hardened steel Max Bolts™ distributed on every side of the door. The lock is shielded by triple-steel hard plates and hardened steel pins that roll to resist a drill.
Inside, the AXIS™ Modular Shelving System with soft-touch rubberized steel shelves rated 75 lbs each, a Quick Access™ row of long-gun storage, and a factory interior outlet.
