More Than Curbside Delivery
What are you going to do with a 1,000-pound gun safe that’s delivered to your curb? If you’re like most homeowners, you don’t have the experience or tools to move it and install it. The Texas Safe & Vault team is your best option for moving your security products. Our full-service installation service includes moving your safe into your home or garage and bolting it down. Texas Safe & Vault’s delivery team is so incredible, we had to offer it as its own service.
Does that mean gun safes can be stored in the garage? They most certainly can and often are. however, whenever we install a gun safe in a garage, we recommend taking a few precautions. These include leveling the safe for proper door swing and creating an air gap underneath the safe to ensure it doesn’t trap moisture. Once our team has answered all your questions on the safe’s operation we remove and recycle all packing material. After that, your safe is ready to fill up and start using.
How long after the purchase will the safe be delivered?
Your gun safe will arrive in 15-20 weeks after your purchase. Once you place your order, we’ll submit your order to the manufacturer to be custom-made to fit your specifications.
What's involved in the shipping process?
CURBSIDE DROP OFF is limited to delivery of safe to curbside of residence or business typically within 25 miles of dealership (after 25 miles, a per mile fee is charged). Safe pallet is not removed during curbside delivery.
IN HOME – MAIN FLOOR installation is limited to typical first-floor access involving 0 to 4 outside steps within predetermined local zones. A flat level concrete or paved pathway is required. Customer is responsible for ensuring the pathway, deck, steps, staircase and foundation is adequate to support the weight of the safe, safe transporting equipment and installation crew. Certain stairways, marble floors, or other obstacles may involve additional charges. Pallet is removed from safe during main floor and stair carry deliveries.
STAIR CARRY – CUSTOM installation Upstairs or Downstairs includes 5-15 additional steps inside the home. Due to size and weight, stair carry is not available on 40 and 50 SIZE MODELS. In some cases, even the 25 and 35 size safes cannot be delivered due to landing space restrictions, stair case structure, and the spacing required for the safe and stair climbing equipment attached to the safe. Some dealers can visit the site and review the delivery route before confirming the safe can be delivered.
PLEASE NOTE: DIFFICULT DELIVERIES due to outside terrain, types of stairways, second floor or multiple floor installations, marble/tile/wood floors, etc. may involve additional charges to complete the delivery. We reserve the right to decline installations and or delivery involving risk of personal injury or property damage. Property title of merchandise purchased will transfer to buyer at dealer’s location. Delivery charges and options may vary by dealer. Do I need to be home when it arrives?
Yes! You will need to be home and sign in-person for the completion of your home delivery.
Does your team handle the entire delivery?
Local deliveries in Texas are personally handled by the Safe & Vault team. Nick of Time installers handles all other national deliveries.
Will you replace a safe that is damaged in the delivery process?
Yes, we offer a full lifetime warranty on our products.
